Waiting for cake, we watch the unvailing of the presents. Brenan got a surprise visit from our home teacher, Bro. Muir bringing a large back-to-school welcome poster/birthday card for him. It was so thoughtful and clever. We are so blessed...

Birthday kisses and wishes for Brenan!

We have 6 Birthdays in our family from August 9th to October 12th...My Kitchen Aid is on strike! Brenan is getting slobbered with birthday kisses from Zoe. Her favorite thing to do...he is #2 in the pecking order next to Amber. Brenan has established himself as a do it yourself "light the candle for my own Birthday" thing. He started 8th grade last week and turned 13 (Teeeeeeeenager), wow-it all begins for the last time. It will take a village, but hey-I've done it 4 other times right? Brenan has a big soft heart, and has had to grow up with 6 parents. So maybe he's the one that will be the wiser above them all. We love you Brenan! Our family would not be the same without you!!! Welcome to the cocoon years!!! MOM

Zoe's BIG DAY!

August 26th is Zoe's Birthday...she loves books, babies, and her new barbie laptop that plays music. Of course, she liked the paper over the presents but that was expected. We let her dive into her special little cake. Zoe loved the frosting...

Beach baby...

Zoe couldn't get enough of Newport. She loves the disappearing act of the water, a footing in the sand, and her Uncle Brenan carring her all over the place. Thank goodness for sunscreen or we would have a baby lobster. This will be a lot of fun in the years to come. We'll see how long it takes her to get up on the surf board...Uncle Blake is waiting!
