Meet our new Grand-daughter ZOE... middle name is still pending. Just in, Newsflash-BROOKE is her middle name.

Surprize- we are GRANDPARENTS!!!

Amber called me on Sunday morning with the news that her water broke and that she was headed to the hospital. My first thought was that little stinker is not waiting for her Nanna to come. I called this one knowing Amber was already 90% efaced with a lead of 2 cenitmeters. There was no way she would last until next week. So Yeah, I missed everything. This just goes to show our best laid plans didn't work. So our grand-daughter arrived at 2:10pm Philadelphia time August 26 on Sunday. She is 6lbs. 10 oz. and had a 9.9 apgar score. Her name, well that too will be a surprize...I leave Wednesday for Philly.

Designer Dorm

Brenan's expression says it all. I'm not sure if he was happy to dominate at home without Aubree or if she was happy to be set free of him...you can figure that out!

What more could a girl ask for other then a compact designer living space just for her? She's about to experience life in hypermode. new friends, stadium classes, catching the suttle, no curfew (yikes), DG rushing, institute, and more...this will be interesting!

Baby News Flash

My flight is booked to leave next Wednesday, August 29th for Philadelphia. I will be gone a week and will eat it up being a new grandmother. I will be sure to post pics of the new little one. Stay tuned ...

AMBER'S BABY NEWS UPDATE! So I had another appointment with the doc today. Turns out that my plan to plead for him to induce me before my due date, wasn't in fact all that hard. I am almost 38 weeks pregnant, and at this point almost 90% efaced and 2 centimeters dialated. He was quite shocked to see me so efaced, given that this is my first baby, but was totally comfortable inducing me on my requested date. Secretly I think he thinks that I will probably go into labor before then and he won't have to induce me.. but it makes me feel better regardless. So my due date is Sept 6th, but he's agreed to induce me a whole week early, on August 30th. To some of you, you may be thinking that this is not a big deal.. but to me.. it's huge. For one my mom can try to plan to be there, given I don't go into labor before hand, and two.. Taylor can plan on being there for sure given his rotation if we have her that day. Of course he would be there regardless, but this way he can be home longer and over the the weekend, rather than me having her on some obscure day where he has to rush back to his rotation the next day. So for anyone that is remotely interested in my good news.... there it is. I will be having her within TEN days. Yeah! We will keep things updated!

Big Belly Jelly

Amber's big belly jelly, this was taken on Sunday with her photo shoot. She is 37 weeks and counting...Zoe Brooke was the last name I heard of. Who know's, let's see that sweet happy smiling face from heaven! She will be an angel amongst us!

This is Aubree's quilt for college. I named it "Pink Park". When she was little she wanted to go to the Pink park. I couldn't resist the name or the family joke. We will miss you Aubz.
