Amber called me on Sunday morning with the news that her water broke and that she was headed to the hospital. My first thought was that little stinker is not waiting for her Nanna to come. I called this one knowing Amber was already 90% efaced with a lead of 2 cenitmeters. There was no way she would last until next week. So Yeah, I missed everything. This just goes to show our best laid plans didn't work. So our grand-daughter arrived at 2:10pm Philadelphia time August 26 on Sunday. She is 6lbs. 10 oz. and had a 9.9 apgar score. Her name, well that too will be a surprize...I leave Wednesday for Philly.
