Zoe's bling bling

This little braclet is no bigger then a half dollar. Nanna couldn't resist the bling bling.

I think I'm starting to see some daddy in her face...what do you think?

A Deacon amongst us

September 9th, 2007 we brought home a deacon from Church today!

Brenan is full of life, love and spunk!
We are so proud of him. He is a tenderfoot, 2nd class, and almost first class scout growing strong. He keeps us young... how do I stop the years from coming? Brenan informed us that he is big enough to light his own birthday candles, so we let him. Turned twelve yesterday and became a deacon today. He said that he didn't feel anything yet in his hands. (referring to the priesthood) How cute is that? I told him that he would feel it when he passes the sacrament next week. I just love his interpretation of his new stewardship...

Starburst for Zoe

If you are wondering why this quilt looks like the one I made for Aubree, you're right. As I was making Zoe's quilt Aubree just loved the fabric and colors. Even though Zoe's quilt is smaller and shouts out more hot pink the patterns are the same. So I quess you could say they have twin quilts. One for a big princess and one for a mini princess. Ironically the quilts are not the only thing they have in common, they look a like as babies...
Nanna has the pleasure of holding Zoe in her new quilt. Hopefully her mother will let her use it or touch it once in a while. I love the bright vibrant colors that will go with Zoe's personality. I'm so grateful that she has arrived safely and that we get to see her angel face. Welcome to our family Zoe!

The name of Zoe's quilt is "Starburst". This was Amanda's suggestion. The colors look like the starburst candy and she is our little "star" bursting on the scene. If you double click on the label I leave a few words of council for Zoe.

7th Grader watch out

He's looking so old! Where did the years go?

Well, Brenan is now crossing over to the early High School years. A big 7th grader in our midst. He is so excited to start school with having such a loooooong summer. (Dad is excited too!) All of his friends have rallied on the phone to meet and walk together. He's too cool to have Mom attend the orientation, but I reminded him not too worry that I've done this 4 other times.

Zoe Brooke's debut

Nanna's in the nursery cleverly painted for our princess by her dad. Just adorable...

Of course she gets her first manicure and pampered her first week of life. Once a princess, always a princess.
Nap time on Nanna. Don't you just love her lips! I love how she just snuggles in and forms to my body. Do you think I like being a Nanna?

I'm just enjoying the new morning with Zoe. She has this pink creamy white skin. I want to bite her cheeks. Too cute!!!

Nanna took on the designated burping role and loved it! I really enjoyed my stay in Philly helping with Zoe. She is such a precious little sugar, I couldn't get enough of her. A whole 7lbs 19 1/4 " she is just a bundle of love. I already miss her...
