So here is one of the triple textbook towers being assembled. It's exciting to see the progress. We had 17 people help today! Awesome support...
This is the homework shelf making an appearance. Brenan with his new Young Men's leader Dan Reeve working hard.
I was the supervisor over the quality control. I put the final touchs of paint. I love the color, they are so fibrant for the school.
Here are the triple towers, thanks to Lori and borrowing her house this was possible. Brenan did good, mission accomplished. Delivery scheduled for August 31st to Deerfield Elementary...Yeah!

Day 1 Eagle Scout Project
Brenan is building Textbooks Shelves & Homework Shelves for the 4th Grade Class @ Deerfield Elementary School.
Today is Day 1 in the process. We spackled, sanded, primed & painted the pinewood blanks. This was necessary so that they would be ready for tomorrow.
Here Brenan is removing the staples from the ends. He had 7 helpers to assist him in this project. We will finish building the shelves tomorrow.
Here are some painted blanks waiting to be transferred to the holding area. Brenan did a great job leading the helpers in his project!

Sunset on Turtle Ridge
This beautiful trail leads to an incredible panaramic view of Orange County from Coto de Caza to the Pacific Ocean. It was a little hazy as the fog started to roll in, so I will take some pictures on a clearer day. The sunset tonight was @ 7:44pm. It was fun to share a quiet walk with the family and enjoy the bounties the Lord has given.
We are missing the Pollei's but we will take them on this amazing hike when they come to visit us from Phoenix. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!!
When the Lords closes a chapter in our lives, he seems to open a new one for us to write... This was an amazing grace!

Fresh Courage Take...
These are pictures of our new home on Arborside. It has been with mixed emotions we start a new journey. I've always believed a Ward is what you make it
.
We have a wonderful new Ward!
It's fun meeting new members and branching out our friendship base.
During this whole process my mind has often turned to the words of a very familiar hymn; Come, Come Ye Saints---
No toil or labor fear, but with joy wend your way. Though hard to you this journey may appear, Grace shall be as your day. 'Tis better far for us to strive our useless cares for us to drive. Do this and joy, your hearts will swell. All is well!
Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard? '
Tis not so; all is right.
Why should we think to earn a great reward If we now shun the fight?
Gird up your loins; fresh courage take.
Our God will never us forsake;
And soon we'll have this tale to tell — All is well!
