July 4th in Balboa

Watching the fireworks over the backbay in Newport. We had dinner at the Brad & Heidi Palmer's home, Yummy! It was a beautiful night to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate. As usual, the boys are having a fun time clowning around! Love it...

To my wonderful husband who works hard, is a fantastic dad, positive optomistic eternal companion, supportive in everyway, loves the Lord, is kingdom in all he does, honors his priesthood, likes to stop me mid tasks for hugs, enjoys food especially white cake with milk chocolate icing, studies the gospel everyday, adores his grandbabies (Zoe/Dane), likes to take long walks, loves change, has the energy of a 20 year old (or at least thinks he does), wants to be perfect (and sometimes he is), loves the gospel, fulfills his callings, loves life even when challenges arise, takes life not too seriously, his laugh is contagious even to tears, loves to work with stocks, can't get enough of living, we call him the preacher, will never retire, I hope I can keep up.....so on and so on.

Blaker has never really liked cake, especially for his birthday! He prefers donuts or his favorite cookie...as you can see his request this year was peanut butter blossoms. Gone Surf'in

This is Jamie (niece) with her sweet baby Cohen. I made this quilt to celebrate his life. It has little tiki huts in very bright colors. They are all closed because the surfers are out, hence the name "Gone Surf'in". Welcome to earth Baby Cohen....
